CHARITY ACTIVITIES
The children at Little Acorns Children’s Club have been involved with various charities in the UK by raising money for the charities.
Some of the charities that the children have so far raised monies for are Haven House in Woodford, Save the Children, Water Aid, Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital and Cracker Jack Children’s Charity.
Overseas Charity Projects

Little Acorns also works in partnership with some charity organisations based in Accra, Ghana…the Banfro-Odoi Foundation and the Shiloh-Goshen Foundation.

The projects are mainly on educational and humanitarian activities. Materials donated by parents/carers at the setting, some local schools in London and Essex and members of St Francis of Assisi Church in Barkingside, Ilford, Essex which includes books, toys and clothing are sent through these foundations and some churches in the Accra suburbs, Ghana for distribution to nurseries, schools and some underprivileged communities of Accra, Ghana.
